Description and application
Terminal plates and busbar supports are made of high-quality epoxy resin and are designed for reliable operation in switchgear, transformer substations and public lighting systems. The PPR and RPOV series terminal plates are designed primarily for installation in public lighting poles, providing high insulation safety and a stable connection for conductors and fuse links under conditions of elevated humidity and vibration.
The BH series busbar supports provide firm and geometrically accurate positioning of copper or aluminium busbars inside indoor electrical assemblies and control cabinets.
Mounting and maintenance
The elements are installed directly onto the intended metal bases or inside poles using metric screws. The compact cast epoxy resin housing guarantees exceptional resistance to flammability, chemical influences and surface tracking currents. The busbar supports are tested to significant breaking forces (3 kN), enabling them to withstand the dynamic stresses caused by short-circuit currents.
The connecting contacts are fitted with high-quality stainless-steel or brass elements that prevent the connections from loosening and guarantee minimal contact resistance during many years of operation in aggressive environments.
